Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day! Thank You Daddy.

“Just put it in gear, accelerate and release the clutch slowly in one go, and you will be fine.” And yeah, it was rolling smoothly. It was the trust in his voice and belief in his eyes that made me ride that scooter alone for the very first time.

Jim Valvano was so right..

“My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me.”

As a kid, you never fear from anything when your father is around. Whether its a violent fight in the playground, bad marks in exams or those broken glasses, its like..anyways, my Daddy is there to handle all the mess and protect me (Doesn’t matter, how much you get scolded later from him).

“I can’t think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a father’s protection.”

– Sigmund Freud

Fathers are supposed to be hard hearted and strong and they never disappoint you. He won’t ever say how much he loves you (In my case particularly), but does he need to say that, really? I can’t imagine to change any memory of my childhood. It is his ability to effortlessly soak the burden of all responsibilities, which has made my childhood full of fun and joy.

Thank You Daddy, for the love and being my cushion of life.

Happy Fathers Day.
